The Jouwsma/Jousma family comes from Fryslân(Friesland) province, Netherlands. The furthest back in the Jouwsma name I can find so far is 1756. Here is the Jouwsma line starting with my grandfather and noting all those with a direct line to my distant ancestor born in 1756.
